Travis West, CEO

Travis West assumed the role of Fringe Benefit Group CEO in 1998 and immediately embarked on an ambitious growth plan. He first identified plan administration as a key factor in helping the company meet its sales goals and oversaw the creation of a third-party administration business unit to accomplish this. Fringe Benefit Group and its Framework Health Plan are now recognized nationwide for their limited medical plan expertise and ability to help employers navigate the maze of administering limited medical plans.

Today, Travis spends the majority of his time meeting with business partners and customers, discussing trends and issues with them while analyzing and assessing new business opportunities. Travis also plays an active role with the company's Government Contractors (Davis-Bacon / Service Contract Act) business unit, which provides valuable retirement and medical benefits to hourly and salaried workers on government funded jobs.

Travis holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in politics from Washington and Lee University and received his MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a member of Vistage International, a chief executive organization, and outside of the office, he enjoys running marathons and spending time on the lake with his family.
